Grilled Pineapple with Spicy Brown Sugar Glaze

Ingredients


  • 1

    pineapple, cored and sliced into 1-inch rings

Glaze:

  • 5 tbsp

    Buttercup Luxury Spread

  • ⅓ cup

    brown sugar

  • ½ cup

    orange juice

  • 2 – 3 tsp

    Thai chilli flakes (or as desired)

  • ¼ tsp

    salt

  • 1

    lime, juiced

  • 1 tbsp

    honey

Directions


  1. Prepare the Pineapple: Slice the cored pineapple into 1-inch rings.
  2. Make the Glaze: In a saucepan, melt Buttercup Luxury Spread over medium-low heat. Add brown sugar, orange juice, thai chilli flakes, salt, lime juice, and honey. Stir to combine.
  3. Preheat the BBQ Steamboat: Preheat your BBQ Grill to medium heat.
  4. Baste and BBQ: Brush pineapplerings generously with the glaze. Grill for 2-4 minutes per side, basting frequently, until grill marks appear and he pineapple softens slightly.
  5. Savour and enjoy: Enjoy the warm grilled pineapple with an extra galze for dipping.
