
Aloo Fry

medium potatoes, peeled and cubed

medium onion, finely chopped

green chillies, chopped

2 – 3 tbsp
coriander leaves, chopped

cumin seeds

¼ tsp
turmeric powder

½ tsp
red chilli powder

½ tsp
salt
Directions
Preparation:
- Peel and cut the potatoes into small cubes.
- Fine chop onions and chop green chillies and coriander leaves.
Method:
- Heat Buttercup Luxury Spread in a frying pan and add cumin seeds. Once it splutters, give it a stir and add the cubed potatoes. Mix well and fry for 2 mins on medium heat.
- Add the salt and turmeric powder and mix well. Fry on low heat for around 5 mins stirring it few times.
- Add the red Chilli powder and mix well. Continue to fry for 2 minutes on low heat.
- Add the chopped onions and green chillies, give it a mix and cover & cook for around 5-6 mins on low till the potatoes and onions are soft.
- Remove cover & garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
- Mix well and serve hot.
